Hello All! So randomly yesterday I was going through my emails and actually taking time to read them and I thought I was clicking on a new Jen and Ty blog but was pleasantly surprised to see that it was a girls' blog. What a treat! Thanks for just taking the initiative Jen. I think hens have a tendency to be the first so that is not surprising (I am not sure of that but it definitely sounded good.). I just wanted to encourage everyone to post here. I want to find out what everyone is doing. I just got home from a week-long trip to the Outer Banks, North Carolina with my parents and brother Matt and his family. After spending just this short time in the South, I realized that I may be southern at heart. Everyone was so friendly. It was a sharp contrast to the stiff population of Rochester. Well, just thought I would say hello. It has been a while. I hope you all are happy and well.

Amy- I am so happy you posted! This is going to be a great way to keep in touch! Yesterday, Ty and I were having dinner with a couple in our ward and the husband told me he is hoping to go to a medical school in Rochester. Come to find out, he is one of Matt's best friends, Jeff Nance. Small world. He said he was going to call Matt and tell him, but I wanted to tell you too!
Are you going to be in Utah any time soon?

Jen-That is so funny about Jeff Nance. Jeff's and Matt's families have lived next door to each other for years. I have spent a lot of time with Jeff. He is a great guy. I have never met his wife, but she seems really adorable from the picture. Unfortunately, as far as I know I won't be back in Utah until Christmas. I guess when you are married it makes things a little different. I am still learning about that. How is married life treating you? Let's be honest we are both still getting adjusted but I am sure you are having fun.
