Regina Coelli

Just wanted to send a shout out to all of you Linda Spevacek Fans. I have seen some stuff on the Thanksgiving Day parade (weather forecasts) and I was thinking how 8 years ago I was fortunate enough to go to New York for Thanksgiving with many of you. What a unique experience. The other thing that sparked a memory of all of you was a couple of Saturdays ago when I flipped to a local channel (maybe PBS) and saw the Veteran's day concert on TV. I only watched one song, but Vicky Belnap was the director. I think I sang Soldier Boy as a lullaby to Gracie that night. Too silly.

Wow, I think I just woke up the whole hotel with laughter!! My sisters ran to the computer wondering what the heck I could be laughing so hard at. Dave guessed it was you Mags. I love that you posted her picture... what great times we had! Dave only experienced the not so fun Las Vegas times with this "dear" director (and her randomly moving CD necklace).

We were pretty lucky to experience so much together in our high school years.

P.S. I still have a hard time waking up to my alarm, luckily I don't have friends I need to wake up for an early morning rehersal.

Dance dance dance everyone dance dance dance. I actually sing that for Marian sometimes. I then I laugh thinking about Spevaduck and Josh Lindsay making that face where you stick your thumb in your mouth to lift your palate. Good times!

LOL! What a fun memory! I'm giggling at all these funny memories - and remember how I lost my hearing in one ear? Ha! At least it got me out of one of the rehearsals.

A sweet memory that it also reminds me of was the day the mrs. sorensen didn't show up to direct the choir, and I ended up having to do it. I can still remember maggie giving me cues when to bring everyone in! (not to mention keeping me on pitch!)
